Deputy Manager / Manager – Purchase
Job Details
Department: Purchase
Location: Mumbai
CTC: ₹12–15 LPA
Reporting To: Head – CPC (Department Head)
Key Responsibilities
– Manage central procurement of packing materials, fuels and miscellaneous items for multiple plants.
– Handle RFQs, reverse auctions and POs in VENDEX.
– Ensure timely material availability and cost efficiency.
– Procure corrugated cartons, labels and other packaging materials.
– Develop and qualify new vendors.
– Coordinate with plants, stores, production and technical teams.
– Work on SAP/ERP, Excel and e-auction platforms.
Qualification
MBA – Material Management
or BE / B.Tech
Experience
– 10+ years in Purchase (FMCG / Edible Oil / Process Industry).
– Minimum 4 years in a managerial role.
– Working knowledge of SAP/ERP and VENDEX.
