SIKANDRABAD / GHAZIABAD (U.P.)

SALARY:
₹25 – ₹30 LPA
INDUSTRY REQUIREMENT:
STEEL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE AT ERW PIPE PLANT INDUSTRY IS MANDATORY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead end-to-end procurement of Engineering & General Consumables.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective buying and timely availability.
Identify, evaluate and develop vendors; negotiate best terms and conditions.
Ensure quality, delivery performance and compliance with company standards.
Monitor procurement budgets, inventory levels and optimize working capital.
Manage contracts, rate agreements and supplier performance.
Lead and mentor the purchase team.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
20+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, out of which significant experience in Head role.
Strong experience in Engineering & General Consumables procurement.
Steel Industry experience at ERW Pipe Plant is mandatory.
Strong vendor management, negotiation and cost optimization skills.
Exposure to MS, pipes, rolling mill, utilities, maintenance & other plant consumables.
Leadership, analytical and strategic thinking with excellent communication skills.
