Plant Operations Head – ERW / CDW / Galvanizing / Tube Mill
Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
Sector: Heavy Manufacturing / Engineering-driven Production
Reporting To: Director – Manufacturing / Operations
About the Role
Oversee the complete operations of a multi-product manufacturing facility producing ERW/CDW tubes, galvanized products, and related steel structures. This role requires strategic leadership to manage production, quality, maintenance, and workforce, ensuring alignment with global quality certifications such as ISO, IATF, AS 9100D, and OH&SMS.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end plant operations across multiple production lines and units.
Manage capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource optimization.
Ensure compliance with ISO-9001, IATF-16949, AS-9100D, ISO-14001, and OH&SMS-45001 standards.
Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and waste reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams to meet delivery and cost targets.
Oversee manpower management, training, and performance development.
Maintain safety, environmental, and statutory compliance across all plant functions.
Qualifications & Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in steel, tubes, forgings, or infrastructure products.
Proven track record in managing large-scale, export-oriented manufacturing units.
Proficiency in ERP-based planning and production control systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
